What We Do

Newcastle Anomalous Research Society are a secret  society.

We have been working as a research society for more than 90 years, first founded in the 1915 in Newcastle at the Newcastle university as an aid to help bereaved wives from the war that started to look to misguided spiritual leaders for help looking for lost loved ones. Our founder created a research group to look at alternative methods of dealing with these issues and to help guide the public or anyone that needed advice to which they could not get anywhere else such as police or government or medical.

We are not a media based team or a hobie based team as we tend not to work on "fame" cases but we do work on real case with real people. We don't write blogs or use social sites and have only just allowed ourselves to become part of the internet.

We keep our identity private due to our main work as professors, scientist, writers and researchers and have a scientific based approach to every case.

The cases below give you an idea of what we deal with from business to historical and private public home cases. We do have research members that work with the media but we ask that we keep our name out of the media unless specifically asked for it. One of our more well known researches who deals with frontline media is the well known paranormal investigator and writer Steven J Taylor.

We are a non profit based society that carry out work in the aid of study.
