So tonight's workings went well this far.
For them that did not see my post about creating a spirit familiar gateway. Well this is it and it's done. However the one in the photo is a faux. I removed the real one after the ritual to preserve the identity of the spirit.
This had took me a while to get right and originally it was to be made out of clay. However the amazing @the_barefoot_witch_ recommended slate tile. Worked amazing.
So this is a gateway for communicating with a spirit familiar. It's basically a way to maintain a long term relationship when you can't make daily or weekly Offerings but you can pay each time you work together but this relationship is earned overtime.
The tile is made to be transported unlike all other spirit houses which stay in the home. I live and travel in a van, so this means I can take it anywhere.
In the photos you can see the triangle of candles, that creates a boundary for the gateway to operate with that energy the tile is the gate. The crossed keys are tapped 3 times to open and placed either side of the gate. Think of the gate like a spirit anchor point for this world but also a point to carry out work. To close the gate, thanks is given, Offerings and once done and completed the keys are tapped 1 more time and crossed to close.
The idea for this actually came from working with spirit.
The next version will be for ancestor work. An ancestor tile.
